Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

Yeah, sleep is good. I would have remembered to check the 'how to update old info' thingie eventually. (need more caffiene this morning too) For the notes, I don't know why it is doing that. I did a /note and typed out a couple of items in the proper format (so I could make sure it was working) but ...

Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

Ok, couple quick things before I fall on my face in bed. I figured out how to use the ingame note to input my inventory. But I had to change the note from a file named 'notes' to 'notes_chatlog' which seemed very strange to me. On the other hand, I figured that I can copy that notes file and email i...

Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

schematics first!! yes! no arguments from me, lol. I downloaded java this morning at home and got it all to open (woot) so I just have to update it and start inputting things. I will probably have a list of things to watch for on my work system, since I browse SWGCraft to see what's new between load...

Re: harvester vs hand sampling numbers?

I never thought to use the pet to 'stay' to keep them in one place. I recently figured out (on my own, hehe) that if you do the 'default button' line every 30 seconds or so (however long one cycle of sampling is for your toon) then at most they miss less than one sample. But that amount of time also...

Re: harvester vs hand sampling numbers?

In a month or so when I am done with my overtime, I will do a full study on TCP with comparisons of resource % and level of trader and expertise settings and the resource pet. Since I will be having many traders over there, I can do it and at the least I can delete some to start over to double check...

Re: Factory confusion

No in answer to both. I didn't transfer the structures to anyone, I have that toon owning them because they have the factory expertise. I made 3 sets of intelligent nanonutrients using the exact same resources at the exact same time. Resources were such that I had 3 experimentation points left over ...

Re: harvester vs hand sampling numbers?

Duh, found the first part in the 'beginner's guide' I KNEW I'd seen it somewhere. Now I just need to figure out the hand sampling part.

harvester vs hand sampling numbers?

Ok, several related questions that I can't seem to find firm answers on (at least not that I can understand) BER, someone somewhere has to have figured out how much per minute (or hour and I can divide by 60) a harvester can get based on the BER and concentration. I know somewhere I've seen somethin...

Re: Factory confusion

Damn, I was afraid of that. When this run is over I'll redeed it and see if that fixes it. That's why I was so confused because I literally put all 3 down at the same time, boom, boom, boom, on the one toon with factory expertise and it should NOT be any different.

Thanks Zimoon, you're the greatest.

Factory confusion

Ok, something's happening that's making no sense to me. I have 3 food/chem factories and 3 structure factories. They are owned by the same toon, placed at the same time, and with the same expertise (all factory line taken to reduce the time needed as well as power and maint) All 6 factories show the...

Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

Ok, my problem was that I was clicking on the 'user name' to try to create one. I needed to go to the open area and right click it to pull up the option to 'create user'. Once I got that, it worked perfectly. Now to get it to run at home, and get my inventory in, and write down my hopper sizes and a...

Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

I BELIEVE I got it to work on my work system. I was doing it right all along (as far as I can tell) but despite it saying 'get java' I had an old version of java which wouldn't work with SWGAide. Well, it wouldn't work with my timecard program all of a sudden either, so updating my java for that ran...

Re: Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

The zip folder does have things in it, it just doesn't have a .jar file that I can click on. I know it's a problem with my home computer because the EXACT same file, and winrar and XP system is on my work computer. That's what's driving me crazy. I have a folder on my D drive, not inside SWG, but on...

Idiot trying to use SWGAID, and failing

Ok, I'm trying, seriously. But I'm the type that if the program doesn't do it for me, I don't know how to do it myself. So let's start at the beginning of my frustration. 2 computers, work and home, both run XP. At home, I download either the .jar file or the .zip file and install either one. But th...

Re: Crate sizes

/sits on her hands and jiggles impatiently.

but...but...but...I want it NOW mommy!

Thanks a ton for this, it will make my life so much easier in figuring out how much a 'factory run' of mandalorian wine would be (12 cases) or how many large houses I can do in a run, for when GU9 hits.
