EARTH RISING

Post by Memnoc » Mon Feb 04, 2008 10:42 pm

Hello

I was on the MMORPG forums reading and I can across this link and spent an hour reading alot about there game and crafting. The crafting sounds like pre-nge crafting but I'll let you decide any feed back would be thankful.

Earth Rising looks good. Its not a well known mmo just yet but the crafting in it looks as if it would be pre-nge. Has anyone taken a look yet.

Well it looks pretty good graphically and they have gone one up on Stargate by creating a genuine web site with some information on the game.

It will be worth following.

It does indeed look very good, hopefully it will not be a new Dark and Light. Does any specific information on the crafting exist?

Hey all

I wanted too give everyone a small update too Earthrise. I'll add links too either small reviews or some screen shoots. The first link is below and the english part is half way down. Beta will start before the end of Dec/2008 well sign up anyways. I'm looking forward too Earthrise I believe its what I've been looking for as a swg crafter. There will be decay with use of item among other things.

The release from what it said was to be the 4th Quarter on this year 2009. I'm not sure whats been happening with Earthrising they may have pushed the release date back. Roma Victor is coming out with a 14 day trial soon so I may give that a try again since I played beta. It was fun I had a few wheat field and used too craft bread and sell bread.

Do they give you a choice of being a centurion, etc? I have the Barbarians II set from the History Channel. Wouldn't mind playing a Saxon.

Below is a link to the wikiped to Roma Victor. From what I rememeber when I played beta is that you are Roman or Barbarian. From there it breaks down too where you live such as in Gaul or Germania and I believe your race is based on that.

When I played beta for four months it was fun. I liked the open area and the feel that it gave..it was a sense of a true sandbox mmo feel too it. But it wasn't so much that it became overwhelming. But I had alot of fun I was content on planting wheat fields and making bread thats all i did. I believe it took an hour in real time for the whet to grow then i had too harvest it and crush it into flour and collect wood too prime the public ovens too cook bread LOL...it seems like alot but it was fun and best of all things decays overtime.

By the way Wrackspurt are you pre-ordering Tropico 3 release is this month Sept/20/2009 I have my order in.
