Looted components question

Post by Zimoon » Mon Mar 30, 2009 6:37 pm

I added a looted-only component, the Heavy Duty Clasp.

Some fields are of course totally void with these kinds of components. How to deal with them?

Some fields also read weird when 0, complexity for example, 0 reads:
Complexity 0 - Requires Specialized Crafting Tool and Private Crafting Station

Yeah, the category system was originally holding these, but should not be used anymore. Possibly I'll make a new table that holds general non-crafted items that can hold these

OK, then we just report looted components here in this thread maybe?

For recyclers, agitator motor, and tumble blender, I need:
  • Feed Tube
  • Heating Element
  • Processor Attachments
  • Pulverizer
  • Small Power Motor
  • Spinner Blade
  • Cheap Copper Battery
  • Blue Wiring
  • Red Wiring

Sobuno is working on a new type of thing, I guess it will be "items", and they will have less options, possibly just the name. Give him some leeway :D

I must say that the Devs here are fast, Sobuno has sometimes added very nifty features in just hours, but we all use our spare time :D

Schematic Maintainers can add new non-craftable items through here: http://www.swgcraft.co.uk/dev/newitems.php

Oh, and they are listed at the bottom of your components drop-down list with a [Non-craftable Item] tag afterwards

EDIT: And the code generating the normal overview on the Edit Schematic page needs to be updated, there are a few discrepancies between the Edit Schematic page and the View Schematic page
