Hi all.

I started playing SWG in 2004 and unlocked jedi on both accounts prior to "The Incident" in 2005. After a break, I came back about 18 months'ish ago and have the toons you can see in my sig. I pretty much split my time online between my BH and Ventis Secundus, my Munitions trader. I love decorating my houses so much I also made one of my toons a Structures trader so I could make my own custom furniture.

The things I like most about the crafting side of things is the detail that it goes into and the pride you can take in producing a nice piece of equipment after all of the hard work went into it. While it does take a long time to acquire a lot of good resources, it makes it all worth it to see a high quality product in your hands at the end.

I pretty much just do work for my friends and guildies and I moreso specialise in REing and have setup my own RE District in the seedy, low rent area of our guild city, Eucalyptus. So if anyone has any questions about the practical side of REing (once you've read the guides in these forums), please let me know and I'll try to help.

While I'm at it I'd like to say a thank-you too Zimoon and the other guys that keep sites like this alive. Without them, the "black arts" of crafting decent equipment would be beyond the casual crafters like myself.

I agree, the details and the diversity you can dig into is what makes me love not only crafting as such but pottering with side projects supporting crafting. And to in-game meet appretices of whatever kind and walk them through stuff, I cannot help it but I am a HELPER by heart :D

Have fun

That "HELPER" tag is one I have worn since about 2 months after launch and I thought I had a good enough grasp on the game to actually be a helper. Its one of the great things about SWG, that most players are so willing to help others. That "HELPER" tag is somthing I have not seen in any other game.
