food and drink

Post by atox » Sun Dec 07, 2008 4:18 pm

when crafting i always used pyollian cake and bespin port. this morning while crafting i noticed that the food buff icon was changed to a drink icon when i used the bespin. do these 2 buffs over ride each other? I've only been back about 3-4 weeks. but i could have swore that food and drink were separate. i may be wrong. can anyone clarify this for me? thanks atox

The cake and the port do override each other. There has been some talk about separating foods and drinks but not sure if they will

Hmmm, it works this way:

Use the Pyollian Cake when assembling the item.

Use Bespin Port when experimenting, one sip per dice roll.

Yes, they are both using the same buff slot but this is no problem as they affect two different parts of the crafting process.

Really? You do one sip per experimentation point even though the stuff has a duration?

Oh yes, the timer is for how long you can hesitate before rolling the experiment. Whatever comes first, the timer or the experiment, consumes the port. This is also read in the Beginners Guide for Traders.

A detail, it is not one sip per experimentation box, but one per experimentation roll. You can spend several boxes a roll :)
