Expertise for noobs

Post by wrackspurt » Sun Oct 12, 2008 8:41 pm

Is there another guide for expertise somewhere that explains things in more detail that the other expertise FAQs? Even the Trader's Expertise page tell you +5 here, or +4% there, but doesn't really explain what the numbers actually mean. Or am I just missing it?

I'm telling ya. Whatever side of the brain it is to be good with numbers, I got the other side going. But I'll gladly trade with anybody who wants the English/Social Sciences side of the brain

They are. That's why they (we) usually go on to be poets or musicians and basically contribute nothing to the world, instead opting to "express ourselves". Anne Rice was quoted as saying it's a fiction writer's duty to provide social commentary or something to that effect.
