When updating my resource inventory If I make a small typo I get an error box saying which of the following is it and a drop down box of listed resources. If my resource is not listed I just "Cancel" and update swgcraft and re enter later, ....but If my resource DOES appear and I slelct it from the drop down box it still gives an error and does not update.
head scratch on that one.
Ie I type Nautilus, +100000 instead of Nautillus, +100000. Nautillus will be a selection from the drop down, I select it as what I meant to add, but it still will not update, and give an error message in a box saying it was not added.
Like I said not crucial, just a pain.

Re: SWGAide --- Your SWG Swizz Knife
I will try to play with this the following weekend, perhaps you found a bug. To shave off time for me, can you describe exactly what you do, step by step (numbered), as I am a blindfolded kid known to not think more than once a monthNautillus wrote:Lol Me again, Small problem, really more of a pain in the butt.

OK Z I will go step by step and intentionaly screw one up. That way I can give in more detail. I was posting from work so had to rely on my dusty memory.

add "(bloodfin) Ovood, +2915312" (Actual Resource is Ovoad)
1. select resources tab
2. select inventory tab
3. rt click and choose import/update from in game notes.
4 Choose resource.txt
5. get a Select resource box with a drop down of similar resources, click on proper resource name Ovoad. and click select
After it is done importing i get the following message in a box:
Summary: error and information messages.
Perhaps also see log file.
Looked for Ovood but found Ovoad, not added.
Line: (bloodfin) ovood, +2915312

Re: Importing to SWGAIde inventory from notes file, bug?
OK, I see, when importing from notes file and the resource name does not match 100% but ...

Zimoon
- one resource from SWGCraft is very similar -- no dialog is displayed but the "error message" at the end displays the misspelled one, I believe the dialog should be displayed with just one entry, a bug
two or more resources from SWGCraft are very similar -- a dialog with a drop-down is displayed but whatever selected does not go through plus the "error message" at the end that displays the misspelled one: a bug
using the inventory >> create-entry dialog seems to work as expected: enter a misspelled name and click Lookup, one or several resources are displayed and the one you select is also added to inventory.

Re: Importing to SWGAIde inventory from notes file, bug?
Now these two bugs are fixed in my build and test version.
Please give me some time for next version though.
I am currently adding support to SWGAide so it can use the features that Sobuno has added to SWGCraft for submitting historical resources. The lower-end stuff is done, the GUI always takes more time; first to make sure it is decently self-explained and intuitive, then the polishing, and writing/editing the help texts
