SWG offline at 7:00 P.M. on May 21st?
Hey SWG is supposed to be up right? I mean its May 21st and they said it was. When I start SWG (its all updated btw), its stops and gives the not reponding message. it also says all servers are down. there is nothing about a hotfix today on it though. Anyone else having this problem?

They said the world was supposed to end today, but I didnt believe them.

Is it possible that SWG is up in some parts of the world but not other parts?

Not really, server reset may be different ... Europe reset at one time and all others at another time. So it depends on where you have your toons.bobymycat wrote:Is it possible that SWG is up in some parts of the world but not other parts?
If that does not explain this, try switch to the old Launchpad or vice versa and see if you can kick-start the game.

On a motorcycle, "kickstart" is the way to manually start the vehicle, involving your right foot and and a lever. The electrical starter would be the automated method of starting the bike.bobymycat wrote:what do you mean kickstart?

But figuratively Savacc is right on the money, something to circumvent the automation.
Launchpad is the old one.
Station Launchpad the new.
There is a web based new launcher too that is said to resolve UAC issues at Vista/Win7.
I have no links but remember a topic at official SWG//SOE forum, maybe it was in the newbie (Tansarii) forum board, not sure tho.

I run win7(64), and for my accounts(3) the only thing I had to change was my password to get back in the game.
kick-start ...ahh yes, anyone that has done this will remember the time your foot slipped off the peg, and it ran along the inside of your shin. Nothing can quite explain the pain involved ...and you still had to "kick" it again to start your bike.

If it's stuck
...force it ...if it breaks,
you needed a new one anyway
