How does "marked unavailable" work?

Post by Vedauwoo » Tue Mar 03, 2009 1:46 pm

Just curious how this function works....

Back in the day (old SWGcraft) you had to manually mark each resource as despawned....which I have followed here as well...

but, I notice that occasionally (not always) I will see a "SWGparser" that has marked some resources unavailable...and at other times (like last night) I will post a bunch of new resources (last night was creature stuff from naboo and tatooine) and some will show immediatly, other show the next morning....from the post last night, I saw the new Naboo stuff show up....but this morning, it added all the tatooine stuff with my name and also claims I marked alot of old Tat stuff "unavailable" when I did not such thing...

Do some resources update automatically on the entry of a new one?

What is going on here?

Yes, some resources are automatically marked as unavailable when you enter new ones; you gain credit for these markings.

The resources marked unavailable by SWGCraft Parser are resources that have been in spawn for 30 days. According to Lunariel, no resources are in spawn for more than 28 days, so this is just a help for less active galaxies
