For the time being, are you going to import the current resource data from SWGCraft?

Yes we have a small team of people exporting the data as we speak, for example the BRIA server has 2227 pages worth of resources, takes a while.

Still looking for more people to help out with this.

We already have the import tools created, and are slowing importing the current SWGCraft.com data in to the new database structure. Bearing in mind, that the way the resources are displayed has changed, and we have updated it for the NGE resource tree.

Is there going to be a way to update the historical data? You couldn't on SWGCraft so it frustrated me to see any errors that were there.

When it comes to stats, yes (the resource moderators for each server) will be responsible for updating and maintaning their servers data.

As for the schematics, yes. These will be contiunously updated.

The (iconic) profession system has a whole overhaul, as its now a wheel not a tree diagram. (with updated schematics and resouce lists).

Same goes for any exsiting feature.

I am trying to get a bit of software that will browse the site (given parameters) then dump the data.

This will help a lot with the data extract

RetVet has a tool that scrapes the site. I have over 18000 resources for Naritus saved so far. I'm dumping them into a local SQL Server. Let me know if you need them.

that is awesome, nice work guys, when you have a server completed, make an CSV, excel or sql file and zip it, email it data@swgcraft.co.uk, so we can start using real data..:)

Also, if is a chance to share the app, we can get a couple more peeps working on this as this is a big job really..:)

How are you guys pulling current SWGCraft.com resource data? Are you strictly using my Swgcraft parsing program? Or did you find a different way?
