I guess this is as good a place to bring this up.

Is there a way to separate or mark resources that do not spawn in game but are available through the 30k Resource Crate?

I use the 30k resource crate to update creature resources which means things like Dantooine, Dathomir, Endor, Kashyyyk, Lok and Mustafar Domestic Meat have spawns attributed to them in the 30k Crate but don't actually spawn in reality.

My personal preference would be to move them into a resource sub-category of their own but this may not be the preferred method of handling them.

I did read your post the other day about the issue (I had access to a public computer on my vacation + cell phone based browsing). My idea was to just add a flag (harvestable) and based on that flag add a short text like "This resource cannot be harvested by normal means" or something to that extent. Moving the resources into a sub-category would do the same to every other page (Such as the Resource Tree)

Fair enough, I figured I should move the post out of that thread so others could have an input rather than hijacking the other thread.
Personally I would be happy with anything that allows all resources to be added (as there are some that feel they shouldn't be added) while clearly distinguishing between the types.

The only list I have is from the creature resources guide in the General Crafting forums so I am not sure if it is up to date but here goes...
I am sure someone can correct it further if necessary.

It actually is in the resourcetree.XML, all creature resources have an optional attribute "harvested="yes|no"". To my knowledge it is uptodate but as always I welcome corrections :)

The list Monty points at is the harvested=yes and a -- is non-harvestable.

Okay, used a script to extract all harvested=no from the XML file.
The only thing I could find being wrongfully set to no was Kashyyykian Wild Milk as the guide says: Kashyyyk: Bantha Matriarchs

I got Wild milk from an ordinary Kashyyyk Bantha and a Matriach Kashyyyk Bantha.

OK, thanks, I take your word for it :D

The XML file is updated at http://simongronlund.googlepages.com/swgresourcefiles.

Cheers

Neither of the creatures that produce Nabooian Domesticate Milk spawn currently--there are a few others I think that may be in the same boat.

Thanks. Most of the harvested = yes|no in the XML is from the SWGCreatures.com at the time I first created that XML. Possibly some stuff is changed and then most probably when the Devs were screwing around with creature loot drop and stuff.

I take your word for it 0 and update the XML .

All input is welcomed.

The bad thing is verifying which creatures currently don't spawn -- and that sucks:(
