making 35s

ok i have been trying for some time to make 35s but no luck i can make stuff to 25s power bits but no luckwith 35s my luck is at 423 with no ent buff or food and i got a reeng tool at 10+ i reeng stated loot at cl lvl 89 and 90s but no luck plz tell me what i am doing worng thanks your friendly

You need to get your luck up to around the 1000 mark and your re'd factor around 125.

One method is to get the re'd bionic arm that ups it I think 10, then powerups, and exotics on a weapon, chest plate and I think a shirt.

then add luck to boots, gloves, hat, pants, belt etc.

then follow one of the guides for making +35. It takes awhile to make one so be patient. But, there are guides out there on SWG and I think here.

ps get luck jewelry too usually they are +25 but the bigger the better.

my R.E. guy uses the 3 exotics. a cybernetic arm and 3 P.U.'s to give me an R.E. score of 143. my luck unbuffed is 349. i usually get the buff though, and have very little problem making 35's. i highly recomend you make the P.U.'s asap. they really make a big differance. i also try and make my initial power bit from a loot drop which is 22+. prior to using the P.U.'s it took me over 200 combines to make a 35. and yes i counted :(

If you can get some good +25 stats it'll usually start at out at +28 or more and then it takes less time to get to +35

Also, don't forget to get some Fizz pudding from a domestic trader (adds about 150+ luck with good stuff) and Styptic Powder from the musta cube (3 flavors: 60, 80, 100 luck depending on which ingredients you use).

Oh! I just remember to group with a smuggler and have them bring out the junk dealer as that will add another +50 Luck.

Here is what my RE toons roll with.

RE Chance breakdown:

+100 from lvl 90 Trader
+10 from Expertise Bonus (requires two points invested in Deconstruction Techniques)
+4 from Chestplate (+1 crafted in and +3 from SEA)
+4 from Weapon (+1 crafted in and +3 from SEA)
+3 from Shirt (+3 from shirt SEA)
+11 from Weapon Powerup*
+11 from Chestplate Powerup*
+11 from Shirt Powerup*
+5 from Cybernetic Deconstruction Arm (seek out the guide to obtain this collection reward item)

Total: +159*
It should be noted that having RE that high really isn't even neccesary. I mostly RE with around +155 to make my +35 Power Bits. I use +159 RE when making powerups for higher charges and better value.

Luck breakdown:

+  90 Trader CL 90 (more for the races Bothan, Mon Calamari and Twi'lek)
+ 110 Cybernetic Deconstruction Arm
+ 125 Regular Jewelry (5 items with +25 each)
+ 385 from Wearables (armor, clothing, and weapon i.e. Reverse Engineering Suit)
+  40 Charmed Artifact
+  ~150 Denelian Fizz Pudding
+ 200 Shard Of Retaliation
+ 150 Entertainer buff
= 1250
When it comes to luck these are the items that are pretty easy to come across. I have three toons for RE and they all have this as a minimum. However, if you take out the 240 from Shard of Retaliation and the Charmed Artifact you still have over 1k luck which is more than enough to grind out +35s. I mostly have as much luck as I can so that I can make higher quality powerups. There is easily another 400 luck I could stack onto this (I have a Smuggler with a GCW banner, Chu-Gon Dar stims, Meatlump rewards, spice, and more).
