May 2nd: Server Migration
We will be conducting a server migration on the 2nd of May at 8:00 PM UTC+2 (Denmark/Copenhagen) (That is approximately 2 days, 21 hours and 22 minutes from this post). The website (SWGCraft.co.uk) will be inaccesible for approximately 24 hours, but we plan to bring up another address from which the SWGCraft Project can be reached.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may present.

Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
Should have asked this before, but, if we submit resource data using the temporary SWGCraft.org, do that migrate once the new servers are up?
Or should we consider today a day off?

The pages SWGCraft.co.uk and SWGCraft.org will point to the exact same IP-address once the migration is completed. Thus, any data entered here will automatically be on SWGCraft.co.uk too.Zimoon wrote:Should have asked this before, but, if we submit resource data using the temporary SWGCraft.org, do that migrate once the new servers are up?

SWGCraft.org is the main domain now though.

Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
OK, so SWGAide should rather use SWGCraft.org as its domain name?
I just noticed that not all new posts at the forum had migrated to here, that is why I asked, thinking the servers are somehow not the same.

And there is some issue clicking the "Return to the Site" link, previously it ended in an error, now it rather reads:
/ZimoonAn error has occured and has been logged.[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file Unknown on line 0: Unknown: write failed: No space left on device (28)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file Unknown on line 0: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct ()

It should not matter, but yes.Zimoon wrote:OK, so SWGAide should rather use SWGCraft.org as its domain name?
For some reason, moderators were allowed to post even though the board was disabled. I think we may have lost one post by Savacc though :/Zimoon wrote: I just noticed that not all new posts at the forum had migrated to here, that is why I asked, thinking the servers are somehow not the same.

Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
my post was not important.
Should we change our bookmarks to SWGCraft.org now?

Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
Should not matter, both sites will point to the exact same server/ip meaning that all bookmarks should still work.Savacc wrote:my post was not important.

I am working on getting forum login working for SWGCraft.co.uk, something about cookies :/
Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
just an FYI, swgcraft.co.uk does not work. It's been mentioned that it does but I either get a DNS error or the home page of some industrial gas company. *shrug*
Re: May 2nd: Server Migration
I am also not able to connect via swgcraft.co.uk anymore. I have to use the .org url.
I also had to change the info in swgaide.

Did you download the latest version of SWGAide before that? Version 0.7.31? You shouldn't have had to, that is why I am asking.Darev wrote:I am also not able to connect via swgcraft.co.uk anymore. I have to use the .org url.
