Re: One last shot at this resource thing
No, you shouldn't mine that Alum (looks like a phrik btw), least not for an engine. If you want some decent alum for chassis or even armour then that stuff is pretty much on the mark. When your considering an engine build it requires several things, depending on what you want the engine to do then y...

Re: just two general questions
If your looking for backpacks on vendor search look under, misc then wearable containers or if you need bulk storage within houses and need a few then, misc, factory crates, travel pack (?). You may well find that you can pickup a crate of 5 or more for less than an individual pack.

Re: The story of the Stubborn Shipwright!
If you reach the top then there is a great view, it is allways a hard climb but in the end it is usually worth it. The hardest part though is maintaining it, getting into a routine that keeps you there and still allows you to enjoy the other aspects of the game. At our peak on kettemoor we where pul...

Re: improving manual sampling
The exploit was actually pretty bad. In essence, each pop up window you canceled while sampling started a new iteration of sampling. When the action cost was low, I could have all the expertise boxes, and have 20 iterations of the sample running at once. The result super harvesting netted over 500 ...

Re: Ok newbie question of the week...
Ok, so when it's my turn for the noob question of the week, I want to know what the deal is with Artisan Terminal Missions. They give you a difficulty rating and a resource, but don't tell you much else. Are you supposed to bring a sample back? Because I'd read in the SWG forums that you just have ...

Re: So What IS Beast Mastery exactly
A long time ago, well about 2 years, SWG had multiple professions (about 40), these where condensed into the 9 current ones we now have. When we had the 40 or so there where two that where relevant to pets/beasts, these where bio engineer and creature handler. The bio engineer was the guy/gal who ba...

Re: Looking for resource info
With architect/shipwright the vast bulk of stuff needs just steel or ore, aluminium etc etc... the downside to this is that we need large quantities of them all. When you start to go into muntions or domestics though this changes greatly, the majority of there schematics start to look for named reso...

Re: Upgrades
So for those shipwrights who sell components, do they usually put upgrades in them or not? Also I wonder why people who sell chassis' don't include the various components together so that somebody can buy a complete starfighter package or whatever? Is it not feasible or simply not profitable? Allwa...

Re: Upgrades
Okay, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or if the question has already been answered because I didn't see anything about it, but I notice when making a lot of ship parts, they have upgraded parts marked as optional in the schematics. Question is where do you get these upgrades? Are they so...

Re: Metal Recycler schematics?
I haven't been keeping an eye out for them myself, will start to though. One thing you could try is vendor search, if a lot of schems are showing up then there is a good chance they are still dropping, somewhere

Re: Harvester Calculations
Yip by my calculations it is still being applied once the harv is being operated, it would be news to me if it had been removed, resource quantities being harvested have allways been within my estimates when retrieving resources. The 30% (trader) and 5% (ent) bonus look like they are applied to the ...

Re: Harvester Calculations
k Kette just came back up, i logged in my non trader who has a BER 14 heavy down on some alum at 67%, he is non ent buffed, the AER on the harv is 14.14 that means the 50% is still being applied. Working out the extraction rate (the way i get my head round it:) ) it comes in at 14.07 ( 21 x 67% ) th...

Re: Harvester Calculations
I'm pretty sure the 50% bonus is still applied, also the harvy's still produce whilst server reboot is happening. One thing that will upset the timing is a server crash, this can have the effect of being similar to a server roll back where quests completed/crafted goods etc are lost, this should als...
