No, though that question has been asked of the devs specifically.

My gut-instinct is that they are the same as droid crafting stations--i.e. they hold a null value. But that is just a guess.

I am not aware of any collection schematics that yield a permanent schem as the reward. AFAIK the purple plant (which is my favorite in-game) is simply a single-use reward schematic, and the reward for completing the crafting collection of them is not a permanent schem.

Yea, as you've found out, two separate issues. The diner's bonus is to food experimentation and structure experimentation. That does not depend on which station/tool you use to craft. Also note that quality doesn't matter when a food is going to be used as a component of another food (like veghash when used as an ingredient to make vegeparsine). The bacta stims are all artisan, and it should be used for Starshine Surprise however that is "broken" right now and uses food. Any other food/drink item gained prior to level 18 is also artisan.

My "newer" chef suit is Food Experimentation, Artisan Experimentation and Luck on the three exotics. In fact there have been a couple dev statements which have said luck does affect them.

It is most likely on a diminishing return scale -- that has been evidenced in several ways during testing.

Somehow I missed this thread. Figure better late than never on a response. Vests are not supposed to take shirt attachments, nor are jackets. To my knowledge they never have. I'd be curious to see which pullover took the attachment. Certain robes do, with the gunman's duster being the item of choice...
